Mr. Jiménez-Artigas is a counsellor with over 45 years of experience, specializing in Civil and Common Law matters, including, but not limited to Construction Law, Renewable Energy Law, Commercial Law, Estate Law, Eminent Domain, Contracts Law, Insurance Law, Equine Law, Entertainment Law, Banking Law, and Real Estate law.

Mr. Jiménez-Artigas, early in his career, identified how necessary the alternative dispute resolution method is for the resolution of civil disputes. This led him to specialize in Mediation and Arbitration for the alternate resolution of disputes. During the last 35 years, he has served as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association, Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Mediator for the United States District Court of Puerto Rico, Arbitrator and Mediator for the Institute of Dispute Resolutions of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, as well as Court-Appointed Commissioner for the Puerto Rico State Courts.

Senior Associate Attorney

Ms. González-Rodríguez is an all-around lawyer with a passion for problem solving. She joined Jorge R. Jiménez Law Offices as an Associate Attorney, in June 2014. Now, as Senior Attorney of the Firm, she has earned broad expertise, with wide knowledge acquired from her diverse legal endeavours. Consequently, Ms. González-Rodríguez’s practices include, but are not limited to Commercial and Civil Litigation, Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations, Corporate Law, Act 20-22 Business Development, Disaster Recovery Law, Estates Law, Family Law, Equine Law, Administrative Law, Insurance Law, Contract Law, Renewable Energy Law, and Expropriations.

Prior to joining Jorge R. Jiménez Law Offices, Ms. González-Rodríguez worked as an Associate Attorney in the Civil and Administrative Litigation Division at Michael Corona Muñoz Law Offices. There, she provided legal counsel and representation in Corporate Law, Civil Forfeiture and PREPA matters, among others. She has also represented clients before the Puerto Rico Medical Board of Physicians, the Puerto Rico Department of Treasury, and the Internal Investigations Division of the Puerto Rico Police Department.

Ms. González-Rodríguez has participated from several trainings offered by FEMA regarding Disaster Recovery Law; she has also taken courses in Bankruptcy Law, Immigration Law, Legal Medicine and Mediation. Furthermore, during her last year as a law student, Ms. González-Rodríguez worked as a Student Practitioner in the Criminal Law Clinic of the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law.
